Czech Republic - Posted here is the 2026 commemorative note of 100 koruna issued on 21.01.2026. This note formed part of the series of special 100 CZK commemorative notes first issued in 2019 (following the 2019 Rašín and 2022 Engliš issues) and is purposely designed for numismatic collectors only. This note celebrates the 100th year of the establishment of the National Bank of Czechoslovakia in 1926 and it also honours the contribution of its first governor, Vilém Pospíšil...

2nd April 2026 

Morocco - This note is issued to commemorate Morocco hosting the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations football final tournament (AFCON). The Africa Cup of Nations is a biennial football event and this is the 35th tournament played since 1957. The tournament started on 21.12.2025 with the final played on 18.01.2026 in Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, and the winner is (drum roll.......!) ...

Tonga - Posted here are three specimen notes from the 1995 series. The three notes here are reprints from the initial issues, first introduced in 1995. It is not sure when these were released, but one can only guess either 1997 or 1998, after the release in 1995...

European Union - This is a 200 euro hybrid banknote Letter 'S' printed with the year date of 2019. This note bears the signature of Mario Draghi, who was the President of the European Central Bank from 01.11.2011 to 31.10.2019. Since then he has been replaced by Christine Madeleine Odette Lagarde. I believe there are three prints for this denomination, and unfortunately, this is the only note I have in my collection...

Brunei - On 09.03.2026, Brunei Central bank released a new series of 5 notes (dolar) of $1, $5, $10, $100 and $500 all dated 2024. Like all previous issues, the notes for this series are all printed on polymer substrate materials. This new series of banknotes was unveiled by the central bank in September 2025. The two denominations of $50 and $1,000 are not included in this new series...

Kenya - Here are five notes from 50 to 1000 shillings all dated 2024. This series of notes were first introduced in 2019 and the full sets that I have posted here are the reprints of 2019. Apart from the new date and new signatures, the rest of the designs for these notes are the same as those first introduced in 2019... Happy birthday Myla.
