Solomon Islands - On 28.12.2023, the Central Bank of Solomon Islands released two new notes of $50 and $100. The designs for these two notes are similar to those previously issued in 2013 and 2015 respectively, but with added security features, which include an embedded 17mm wide micro-optic stripe band on the front of the notes. The micro-optic strip replaced the Optiks security thread (Hybrid) of the previous series.

Mauritania - An unusual release - One design but with three substrates! Here are the three commemorative banknotes of 50 ouguiya all released on 18.06.2023. The designs for these three notes are all the same except that the banknote materials printed on are not all manufactured the same. I believe this is the first time a central bank has issued the same note design but printed on three different substrates - Hybrid x 2 and Paper.

Ukraine - This is a commemorative note of 50 hryven, released on 23.02.2024 on the eve of the second anniversary of the Russian invasion. Russia invaded Ukraine on 24.02.2022. This is the second commemorative note issued commemorating the war against Russia. On 24.02.2023, a banknote of 20 hryven was issued to remember the first anniversary of the unwanted war with Russia.

Philippines - Posted here is a twenty piso commemorative note issued in 2023 for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Central Bank of The Philippines (Bango Sentral ng Pilippinas) 1993 - 2023. The Philippines's central bank was first established on 03.01.1949. In 1993 (3rd July), it reestablished itself under the New Central Bank Act.

Kazakhstan - Here I have posted two of the three normal circulation notes issued with the signature of Grigory Alexandrovich Marchenko. Marchenko was the Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan from 2009 to 2013. I believe only three notes were issued with his signature for the normal circulating notes. In addition to this, his signature also appeared on five other banknotes issued for commemorative purposes from 1000 tenge to 20000 tenge. This series has changed little since it was first introduced in 2011. The 10000 tenge note is printed on Hybrid material.
22nd June 2024
Mauritania - This is an odd polymer note of twenty ouguiya reportedly released in December 2021. I believe this note formed part of the 2017/2018 currency reform series. The currency reform is for the re-denomination of the previous ouguiya currency where one new ouguiya is equal to 10 ouguiya.

Zimbabwe - This is a $100 reprint hybrid note dated 2023. I believe this is the last issue
for this series as on 05.04.2026, the government of Zimbabwe introduced
a new currency called Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG). This new currency replaced
the current series first introduced in 2019.
