Barbados - I knew about these reprints since June 2024 and only recently managed to get them recently. Posted here are the latest series of polymer notes, first introduced in 2022. The notes that I have posted here are all reprints of the 2022 series, but with a new bank governor's signature and dated 2024. Only five notes posted here as I am not sure if the $10 has been printed or issued. The first two notes of the $20 and $100 were reportedly released in June 2024. There are no changes in the design for this series, except that the notes are printed with the year date of Series 2024 and also with the new signature...

Samoa - On 31.08.2019, I posted the ten tala commemorative polymer note issued to celebrate the XVI Pacific Game. The game was held in the capital city of Apia from 07.07.2019 to 20.07.2019. You can read more about my original post here. Here, I have posted the same note but printed with the word 'specimen' on the front and on the back...

8th August 2025

Abkhazia - This is the fifth note issued by this disputed region of Abkhazia since 2018. The National Bank of the Republic of Abkhazia has released, since 2018, the denomination of 500 apsars (2018), 25 apsars (2023), 10 and 100 apsars (both 2024), and now this 50 apsars. This is part of the Investment Bank Notes series, just like the 10 and 100 apsars as preciously issued...

15th August 2025

Estonia - Here I have posted 10 notes issued by the Bank of Estonia from 1991 to 2006. These notes were put together by the central bank in a plastic sleeve each sealed with a silver coloured label and were sold to the public individually as collectibles at a premium over the face value of the note...

Sudan - This is an odd note of 1000 pounds printed with the year date of June 2024. I am not sure why I bought this note, perhaps it was not that expensive, and it's a new series with only one note released so far. I do have the habit of buying new and cheap notes for no reasons whatsoever...

20th August 2025

South Sudan - These are the two known notes issued with the year date of 2024 printed on the notes. These two notes were reportedly released on 12.06.2024. It is not sure if other denominations have been printed with the same year as per these two notes. Due to inflation and a weak currency, larger denominations of notes may be required, apart from these notes. The denominations of 500 and 1000 pounds were issued from 2020, and since then the central bank has not printed any banknotes that are lower than 500 pounds...

24th August 2025

Abkhazia - On 08.08.2024, I posted the two notes of 10 and 100 apsar, both released on 10.06.2024. Here, I have added the 10 apsar note printed with the prefix of AB. According to some sites, this note is claimed to be a replacement prefix. As you can see, the normal notes are printed with the first prefix of AA and follow with 9 digits. A total of 500,000 pieces were reportedly printed and therefore the 9 digits serial numbers would cover the entire prints. I have no confirmation to say that this AB note is a replacement prefix, and I believe these are the only two prefixes have been sighted so far...
