..Show and Tell - Barbados 2002 $5 Central Bank Commemorative

http://americabanknotes.blogspot.com/2014/01/barbados-5-2002-central-bank.html26 January 2014 - Barbados $5 2002 Commemorative - 30th Anniversary of Central Bank of Barbados. After a long discussion, negotiation, waiting and finally, I managed to get a few of these notes for my collection. The serial numbers of these notes posted here are #333, #444, #500, #555, #888, #999 and #1000. In all, a total of 1000 sets issued and needless to say, whatever note you get, they are all low serial numbers. I, personally, do not believe any replacement prefix was printed given such a low quantity printed. Originally these were issued not for sale or for distribution but to be presented as gifts to clients and business associates of the bank. Not many collectors outside the country were not aware of such existence until 2010. The serial numbers of the notes posted here are also unique, especially the last note. If you have any of the half solid notes of this issue (#111, #222, #666 and #777), please feel free to contact me. I have no intention to buy any more of these notes but would like to know what other collectors have in their collections.  yet to win this.
